MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING 

OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES 

held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 7:30 PM

Mayor Ceriello led the Board and guests in the Pledge of Allegiance. 

 

A Motion to open the Public Meeting was made by Trustee Im, seconded by Deputy Mayor Miller and approved by all. The Meeting was called to Order by Mayor Ceriello at 7:35 p.m.

 MINUTES 

A motion to approve the minutes from May 13, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee Im and unanimously approved. 

 OATH OF OFFICE
Having filed the appropriate petitions to appear on the ballot for the election of Trustee of the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park and having subsequently won the sufficient amount of votes necessary to be elected to the position, however unable to accept the oath of appointment within the statutorily prescribed time frame following the election, pursuant to Public Officers Law Sections 10 and 30(1)(h), thereby leaving a vacancy on the board of trustees, Greg LiCalzi was appointed to the office of Trustee of the Village of Munsey Park for a term lasting until the next regularly scheduled Village Election, pursuant to Village Law Section 3-312. A Motion was made by Mayor Ceriello, Seconded by Patty Miller, and unanimously approved.

REAR FENCE APPLICATION

A motion was made by Mayor Ceriello to approve an 8-foot fence along the rear property line of 414 Hunt Lane, adjacent to the commercial property on Northern Blvd., seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and unanimously approved.

TREE CITY USA

Mayor Ceriello issued a proclamation declaring May 26, 2026, as Arbor Day in the Village of Munsey Park.

VILLAGE REPORTS

JUSTICE REPORT: The Monthly Justice Report for May 2026 notes total fines assessed in the amount of $864.00.

BUILDING REPORT: The Building Report notes that between June 1, 2026, to June 8, 2026, a total of 4 permits has been issued totaling $1,350 in Building Permit Fees.

POLICE REPORT: The Police Report incident April 2026 notes no Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident, no Larceny (other than auto), no Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 9 summonses (5 Movers and 4 Parkers). 

 

PUBLIC COMMENT:

A Motion to close the Board of Trustees Public Meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello seconded by Trustee Im and unanimously approved at 8:17 p.m.
