MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING

Mayor Ceriello led the Board and guests in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Motion to open the Public Meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Deputy Mayor Miller and approved by all. The Meeting was called to Order by Mayor Ceriello at 7:38 p.m.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes from June 10, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and unanimously approved.
JUSTICE COURT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (JCAP)
Munsey Park Justice Court is requesting authorization from the Village Board to apply for funding from the Justice Court Assistance Program (JCAP) during the upcoming grant cycle. One required component of that application is a resolution from the Village Board authorizing the Justice Court to apply for this funding. The resolution to authorize the Justice Court to apply for such funding for the 2026-27 grant cycle up to $30,000 was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Deputy Mayor Miller and approved by all.
NEW TRUCK PURCHASE
Mayor Ceriello moved to approve the acquisition of a new truck through a competitive bidding process, up to a maximum of $120,000. The motion was seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and approved by all.
LOCAL LAW 3 -2026
The Board passed Local Law 3 – 2026 on April 8, 2026, to establish a temporary moratorium on the filing of applications, acceptance, approval and/or issuance of permits by the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park for any Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations not fully contained within a residential structure and Battery Energy Storage Systems within the Village. This moratorium may be extended by Village Board by resolutions for two additional three (3) month time periods or for such additional periods that are reasonable in scope and duration. Mayor Ceriello made a motion to approve the moratorium be extended through October 8, 2026, seconded by Deputy Mayor Miller and approved by all.
VILLAGE REPORTS
JUSTICE REPORT: The Monthly Justice Report for June 2026 notes total fines assessed in the amount of $1,039.00.
BUILDING REPORT: The Building Report notes that between June 1, 2026, to June 8, 2026, a total of 17 permits has been issued totaling $5,225 in Building Permit Fees.
POLICE REPORT: The Police Report incident May 2026 notes one Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident, one Larceny (other than auto), no Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 28 summonses
(20 Movers and 8 Parkers).
