Deputy Mayor Miller led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Motion to open the public meeting was made by Trustee LiCalzi, seconded by Trustee Carusone, and called to order at 7:35 pm and approved by all.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes for January 14, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Deputy Mayor Miller, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi, and approved by all.
NEW BUSINESS
VILLAGE ELECTION
Deputy Mayor Miller announced the candidates for the Village Election: John Turano (Village Justice), Regina Im (Trustee) and Gregory LiCalzi (Trustee). The election will take place on Wednesday, March 18th at Village Hall between the hours of 12 noon and 9:00 pm.
LOCAL LAW 1 - 2026
Deputy Mayor Miller introduced Local Law 1 – 2026 which is a Law permitting an override of the tax levy limit for the upcoming fiscal year. The law does not necessarily mean that the Board will override the Cap but provides the Board with flexibility to exceed the Cap if it is deemed necessary.
VILLAGE REPORTS
JUSTICE REPORT: The Monthly Justice Report for January 2026 notes total fines assessed in the amount of $850.00.
BUILDING REPORT: The Building Report notes that between June 1, 2025, to February 5, 2026, a total of 81 permits has been issued totaling $133,338 in Building Permit Fees.
POLICE REPORT: The Police Report incident December 2025 notes no Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident, one (1) Larceny (other than auto), no Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 25 summonses
(5 Movers and 20 Parkers).

The motion to close the Board of Trustees public meeting was made by Deputy Mayor Miller, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and unanimously approved at 7:48 pm.
