held on January 14, 2026

Mayor Ceriello led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A Motion to open the public meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee Im, and called to order at 7:40 pm and approved by all.
MINUTES
A motion to approve the minutes for December 10, 2025, Board of Trustees meeting was made by Trustee LiCalzi, seconded by Trustee Im, and approved by all.
NEW BUSINESS
ASSOCIATE JUSTICE
The Board appointed Sophia L. Cahill as the new Associate Justice of Munsey Park Justice Court. The Associate Justice is designated to preside in the absence of Judge John Turano as the need arises.
ELECTION INSPECTORS
Trustee Im made a motion to adopt the following resolution, seconded by Mayor Ceriello and approved by all:
RESOLVED, that pursuant to section 15-116 of the NYS Election Law, this Board does hereby appoint the following persons to serve as Inspectors of Election on Election Day, March 18, 2026 from Noon to 9 pm: Karen Ghaffari – 55 Dartmouth Road, Manhasset and Deanna Chantly – 100 Knickerbocker Road, Manhasset. It was further RESOLVED, that compensation shall be at the rate of $250 per day.
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS 2025
Trustee LiCalzi motioned to approve the Village of Munsey Park’s Financial Statements 2025, seconded by Trustee Carusone, and approved by all. Mayor Ceriello made a motion to approve the Village of Munsey Park’s Justice Court Financial Statements 2025, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and approved by all.
VILLAGE REPORTS
JUSTICE REPORT: The Monthly Justice Report for December 2025 notes total fines assessed in the amount of $1,491.
BUILDING REPORT: The Building Report notes that between June 1, 2025, to January 12, 2026, a total of 74 permits has been issued totaling $130,888 in Building Permit Fees.
POLICE REPORT: The Police Report incident November 2025 notes no Burglary-Residence, no Burglary-Business, no Robberies, no Larceny-Auto incident,
one (1) Larceny (other than auto), no Criminal Mischief incidents and a total of 22 summonses (7 Movers and 15 Parkers).
Questions/Comments were received from the following residents:

The motion to close the Board of Trustees public meeting was made by Mayor Ceriello, seconded by Trustee LiCalzi and unanimously approved at 8:00 PM.
